After we meet, I analyse the results alongside your Assessment Profile, background information and anything important that came up during the assessment.

What happens next?
From assessment to completed report
There is quite a bit of work behind the scenes once the assessment itself is over.
I analyse everything
I look at the assessment results alongside your Assessment Profile, background information and anything important that came up while we were working together.
Background information can be checked
I may send the background information to you, or to a parent where appropriate, for factual checking. Genuine misunderstandings can be corrected and important forgotten information can be added.
I complete the professional report
I bring the evidence together and make the diagnostic conclusion and professional interpretation. The report is not changed simply because someone expected a different outcome.
You receive the draft
I send you the draft report. The remaining £250 balance is paid after you receive the draft.
Your final report is sent as a PDF
Once the remaining balance is received, I send the final report to you as a PDF.
Whatever the outcome
What if the outcome is not dyslexia?
The assessment can still be useful. You will receive recommendations based on what I found, and I will signpost another pathway where that is appropriate.
Your report
Who receives it?
For self-funded assessments, I do not routinely share your report with other people. You choose who to share it with, subject to normal safeguarding and legal exceptions.
For university-funded assessments, any agreed report-sharing requirement will be made clear before assessment.
