At work
When work starts making you wonder why everything takes so much effort.
You might have been told you are too slow, disorganised, careless or not paying attention — even though you know how hard you are trying.
I know I’m trying. Why isn’t that enough?

Ordinary working life can expose the pattern
Difficulties can show up in ordinary working life
You may not need to work harder. You may need to work differently.
An assessment can help explain the pattern and provide practical recommendations. These might include assistive technology, written instructions, advance papers, additional time where permitted or other compensatory strategies.
Workplace recommendations
My report can make practical recommendations, but I do not decide whether an employer should take a disciplinary or capability action, and I do not carry out Access to Work workplace assessments.
Before your assessment: eye test
Please make sure you have had a routine eye test within the last two years before your assessment. This is separate from any visual-difficulties screening.
