At work
Could dyslexia be affecting you at work?
Dyslexia does not look the same for everyone. These are prompts for recognition, not a checklist and not a diagnosis.
Emails, reports or forms take longer than colleagues expect
You know what you want to say but writing it clearly is effortful
Instructions are difficult to hold in mind while you work
Names, sequences, dates or verbal information are easily lost
Proofreading your own work is difficult
Organisation, prioritising and paperwork use a lot of energy
Time pressure makes spelling, reading or memory difficulties more obvious
You rely on systems and workarounds to keep everything together
Several familiar signs do not automatically mean dyslexia.
What matters is the overall pattern, your history and the impact the difficulties are having. You do not need a screener before a full assessment. If you are genuinely unsure whether assessment is worthwhile, the £25 dyslexia screener is an optional lower-cost way to help decide.
