In person in Weston-super-Mare
Coming to see me
It helps to know what to expect before you arrive. My assessment space is in a quiet garden cabin in Weston-super-Mare.
It’s just an assessment — not an exam day.

When you arrive
A few useful things to know
I’ll greet you and show you where everything is. There is no clinical waiting-room feel and breaks are completely normal.
Parking
There is a parking space for you by the bins.
At the gate
I’ll greet you at the gate. The gates stay closed because of my elderly dog.
While you’re here
Tea, coffee and water are available, and there is space for a parent to wait.
A real place
This is where we’ll work
A quiet, comfortable space where we can get on with the assessment and take breaks when you need them.

Head of welcomes
You might meet this little chap too
My elderly dog is blind and deaf but very friendly and enjoys welcoming people. If you would rather not meet him, that is absolutely fine — I can keep him away.

Before the day
A nervous child?
Local families can arrange a short informal visit before the assessment day. Your child can meet me, see the room and have a drink. There is no testing during this visit.
Sometimes simply knowing where they are going makes the assessment day feel much easier.
Prefer not to travel?
Remote options are available too
If a remote assessment is suitable for you, we can meet online instead.
